Synopsis for the far southern california coast.. At 1 am, a 1030 mb high was 300 nm west of cape mendocino a 1023 mb high was over elko, nevada. A 1010 mb low covered the bight at the center of a coastal eddy and a 1004 mb low was over needles. Weak onshore flow will prevail through Sunday, with a coastal eddy spinning today through Thursday night.
